Assistant Technical & Facilities Director

Interpret the scenic designs and create shop drawings for the physical realization of concepts. With the Technical and Facilities Director, manage the opera center shop, administration, and rehearsal spaces. Also manage the production operations of a newly renovated black block theatrical space.
Stage Management

As a member of the stage management staff, execute all rehearsals, techs, and performances in roles varying from 3rd ASM to Stage Manager. Responsible for the accurate implementation of production designs, and coordination with assigned production departments. Relay necessary information from the rehearsal room to department heads to assist in the creation of designs.
Production Stage Manager

Starting at the summer stock company in 2015 as the sole stage management staff member, I am responsible for execution of all productions (on average 4 mainstage, 2 concerts, a fundraising gala, and a touring children's opera). Over the course of my employment I have grown the stage management staff from myself to 3 members. Industry standard policies and procedures have been designed with company leadership and implement as appropriate. All practices have been set up to ensure that the needs of growing complexity of productions are executed under safe and healthy circumstances.
Projects and Media
Run all rehearsals, techs, and performances to the high standards of a world premiere for Minnesota Opera. Due to COVID-19, this production only rehearsed up to the final room run. All onstage rehearsals and performances were cancelled.
Responsible for the execution of a complex costume design featuring, at minimum, 3 looks for everyone in a cast of 36 artists. Heavy coordination was required between the staging staff and costume department to execute a world premiere design. In addition, execute the SL ASM track to the high world premier standards of the Minnesota Opera.
