A passionate storyteller chasing opportunities to use art to make an impact in the lives and minds of individuals.
Shakespeare’s most famous comedy of unrequited lovers and fairies and ridiculous mechanicals will be supplanted and reset in the 1950s, to draw attention to the themes of gender roles and class within the story. Using a cutting of the original text, Shakespeare’s language will be used to get to the bare bones of the classic show.
I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and have been passionate about theatre since I was a young child. When I was cast as Miss Hannigan in my first real show Annie Jr. at the ripe age of 8 years old, I was hooked on performing for life. I was so excited to continue my journey in exploring this craft at the university level, and have now spent the last three years in the BFA Acting program at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I didn't expect Nebraska as where my artistic journey would continue, but I am so glad I discovered this gem of a program. I have been so fortunate to learn from brilliant theatre enthusiasts and have plenty of opportunities to explore my art and hone my skills as a storyteller.
