Born in Budapest, Hungary, David Keringer is a versatile clarinet, saxophone, and recorder player, currently a member of TŌN - The Orchestra Now at Bard College. He received a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. During that time he was awarded an Erasmus Scholarship for two semesters at the University of Music Graz, Austria. After he graduated from the University of Music Vienna, he won a Fulbright Scholarship for the Advanced Performance Studies Program at Bard College Conservatory of Music. He is one of the recipients of the "Dr. Elemér and Éva Kiss Scholarship" in 2023. As a soloist, he has played in Hungary, Austria, Italy, Japan, the United States, and on the Hungarian National TV Show “Virtuosos”. He has performed with symphony orchestras, collaborated in theatrical, and musical productions, and he was the winner of the Danubia Talents 2020 Competition in the Winds category. He has been on stages of Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Musikverein, the Osaka Symphony Hall, the Palace of Arts Budapest, and many more.
