Born and raised in Arizona, Kara Piatt is an accomplished conductor, pianist, and singer. One unique opportunity in her undergraduate degree to accompany, coach, and conduct “The Magic Flute” led Kara to pursue her new-found curiosity and passion for conducting through the completion of her Masters Degree in Orchestral Conducting at the Cincinnati Conservatory.

Her passion for music and education has started Kara on a journey to make conducting education and classical music performances more accessible. She hopes to further this journey through interesting and innovative projects during her Doctoral Degree and professional engagements.
