Kayana is currently Principal Oboist of the United Nations Symphony Orchestra, where she performs at various international events at the United Nations Headquarters, as well as public concerts throughout New York City. She has previously held positions with the New York University Concert Band, University of Paris-Sorbonne Orchestra, West 4th Wind Ensemble, and The Benchmark Instruments, Goldman Sachs' chamber orchestra.

Kayana currently studies with Tuck Lee, Principal Oboist at Wicked on Broadway who also performs with the New York Philharmonic. While at NYU, Kayana studied with Hugo Suoza, Principal Oboist at the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
