Growing up playing a whole range of styles - rock, electronic music, Brazilian, pop - he took the opportunity of studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston to immerse himself fully in music.
After graduating the prestigious music college, Marcelo was able to perform with countless artists in a variety of genres, such as Azat Bayazitov, Kaylor and the Tin Cans, RINI, Gary Shaw, Katende Band with Silvana Magda, Shakthi Reegopalan, Kenny Werner, Tigran Hamasyan, among many others.
Marcelo also is a prolific band leader and composer. With 3 albums and 3 singles under his belt. His latest work "Night Tales" have recieved international attention and countless positve reviews. As a leader he has performed in venues such as Lilypad, Rockwood Music Hall, Rochester Fringe Festival among more.
