Soren Lorentzen is a section violist with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. He received his Bachelors in Viola Performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, where he studied with the illustrious James Dunham, and where his love of chamber and orchestral music was fostered and blossomed. He has taught violin and viola online and in person for the last 7 years, and he continually strives to pass on his love of music to the musicians of tomorrow.
