Veronica Szafoni was born in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and began performing at a very young age. At 5, she began dancing, and the love of being onstage followed her through elementary, middle and high school. She did her first musical theatre performance at age 12 in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and continued to act in featured roles in musicals and plays all through senior year. Her favorite roles in these educational settings have been Dotty Otley in Noises Off! (Michael Frayn), Ariel in The Tempest (Shakespeare), and Somebody in Everybody (Branden Jacobs-Jenkins). She now attends Northwestern University (expected graduation in June 2024) and is pursuing a major in Theatre with an Acting Concentration as well as an Acting for Screen module program. In 2021, she received representation with the Dream Team Talent Agency of Chicago, with which she currently still works. She also spent September through December of 2022 studying at the Prague Film School in the Screen Acting program. She is passionate about all types of acting, stage to screen, and plans to reside in New York City following her graduation in order to fully devote herself to this career. She is excited to embark on new acting journeys as often as she can, and she looks forward to more opportunities to hone her artistry and her creativity.
