Jinty McTavish (Jintshred) is a Chicago-based shredder violinist known for her passionate performances, fiery improvisations, and Paul Buckmaster-inspired string arrangements. She has performed over 1000 concerts both nationally and abroad as a soloist and as a member of her lady-power string quartet, ATLYS.

Equally well versed in both classical and electric violin playing styles, Jinty creates an unforgettable and interactive concert experience that audience members of any background will enjoy. 

Highlight career moments include performing with ATLYS at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Gorge Ampitheatre for thousands of people in 2021, collaborating with EDM producer Seven Lions on an album with ATLYS, taking her solo shredding show abroad to Mexico in February of 2022, and working closely with Yo-Yo Ma, Riccardo Muti and the musicians of the Chicago Symphony in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for their 2015-2016 season.
