Mia Lai is a New York-based performing arts administrator with a flair for optimizing organizational processes with simple technologies. She developed keen observational skills after years as a performing violist that she carries into her work as an arts administrator. Mia is a master of arts in performing arts administration candidate at New York University. Most recently, she worked as a festival intern at the Heifetz International Music Institute, where she assisted with festival operations for a six-week program with 140+ students and 57+ concerts. Mia holds a bachelor of music in viola performance from University of Missouri–Kansas City where she studied with Scott Lee.
