Peter Jablokow is currently studying viola with Kim Kashkashian at the New England Conservatory of Music. His studies began in Philadelphia at the age of eight with Adriana Linares. Later, he also studied with Kurt Nikkanen.
Peter has played in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center, and Jordan Hall. He has performed in the NEC Symphony orchestra under the baton of Hugh Wolff and David Loebel.
During his summers, Peter has participated in the Heifetz Institute Summer Program and the ArCoNet International Music Festival as a fellow.
Community outreach has always been a significant part of Peter’s studies, playing in Music for Food concerts, local retirement homes, and for underprivileged children in Philadelphia.
Peter has played in lessons and master classes for many prominent artists including Atar Arad, Roberto Diaz, and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. His interests outside viola performance include yoga, European history, and music history.
