Piper Monson grew up in rural Nebraska, where she quickly found a passion for the arts. After watching Barbie of Swan Lake at the ripe age of 3, she found herself in ballet class and has been performing ever since. She got her start with the Lofte Community Theatre growing up, and has since come back to choreograph professionally (Christmas at Leon's). She was a 2019 National Nominee for the Jimmy Awards, where she got to represent the Nebraska High School Theatre Academy for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. With NHSTA she has also been a guest artist for various concerts, singing with Brian d'Arcy James, Alexander Gemignani, and Norm Lewis. At NWU she has been involved onstage in projects such as Holiday Inn (Linda Mason), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), & Head Over Heels (Gynecia) and backstage, Directing The Verge by Susan Glaspell, and Choreographing the mainstage production of Little Women.
