A night to celebrate the enchanting powers of Jazz and Latin-Jazz genres of music. Chicago-born Greg Porée was the musical director for Sonny & Cher. Additionally, he performed with icons like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, and other great musical legends. Cuban-born Dayren Santamaria performed with the National Symphony Orchestra in Habana while living in Cuba. After moving to the U.S. she completed her Master's Degree at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa. In 2007 she moved to Los Angeles and now has her own band "Dayren Santamaria & Made in Cuba", and performs with bands and musical icons like Hubert Laws, Oscar Hernandez, Jose Rizo's Mongorama, and Andy Garcia's Cineson All-Stars.

The synthesis of Dayren's original compositions and Jazz Standards creates an immersive experience, inviting you to embark on an imaginative voyage through the captivating realms of Afro-Cuban rhythms and improvisational melodies.
Dayren was fated to be an entertainer. Born in Matanzas, Cuba to a professional musician father and an actress mother, she opted for a musical life and chose to study violin at age 8. Her passion for music has taken her on a journey around the world and across musical styles. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2007, she has worked extensively with four-time Grammy Award Winner, Oscar Hernandez who’s considered one of the most gifted and prominent pianists, arrangers, and composers on the contemporary Latin, Latin-Jazz and salsa music scene. Her performances with 2011 NEA Jazz Masters Award Honoree, and 2018 Downbeat Magazine Flutist of the Year, Hubert Laws were a thrilling experience that allowed her to dive deeper into a uniquely sophisticated world of beautifully advanced harmonies.
