From Chillicothe, Illinois, soprano Eva Wilhelm is a master’s student at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music studying under Timothy Noble. Completing a B.S. in Music Business from Indiana State University in 2022, where she studied with Dr. Yana Weinstein, she has held a variety of non-singing positions at organizations including Chicago Opera Theater, Riviera Theater, Jacobs School of Music, and interned in the Rosenthal Archives at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra during the 2021-2022 season. She has also helped organize and facilitate the 2024 and 2025 Indiana SongSLAM in collaboration with Sparks and Wiry Cries. In 2019 she won the ISU Concerto and Aria competition and performed with the ISU Symphony Orchestra. Recently she participated in the AIMS lieder program in Graz, Austria summer 2023 and is a current member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus. Since starting at IU Wilhelm has sung in University Chorale, Anne Frank opera chorus, NOTUS, and multiple contemporary chamber groups. In 2025 she sang as the soprano soloist for Handel's Messiah alongside the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, and will sing the role of Rose in Delibes' Lakmé with Chicago Summer Opera.
