Lucia Walker
Lucia Walker believes in the power of storytelling to unite individuals and communities. This affinity springs from her background in music and theatre, where she learned that participation in the arts is an impactful vessel for human connection and understanding. As an Honors Arts Management student at the Indiana University O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Lucia pursues this passion by exploring professional opportunities encompassing arts management, community engagement, service, and leadership. Furthermore, she increases her fluency as an administrator by honing her skills as a performer. As a vocalist and member of the Indiana University Singing Hoosiers and Varsity Dancers, Lucia actively enhances her knowledge and capacity to serve other artists and artistic communities. Through her studies, she has developed strong communication skills, project management experience, and an understanding of the current state of arts administration. Recognizing that community value, transparency, and relevance are rising foci for arts organizations, Lucia is especially committed to building a skillset in audience engagement.
