Aleksandra Czerniecka
Born in 1997 in Rzeszów, Poland, Aleksandra is currently pursuing her Masters degree at the Jacobs School of Music as part of her Fulbright Scholarship. Aleksandra feels closest with the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov and Scriabin. She has won many awards, among others First Prize during Chopin International Festival in Poland and laureate title at International Chopin Festival in Mazovia. She has also received multiple awards at the International Piano Forum „Bieszczady without borders” in Sanok, Poland.

Biography

Aleksandra Czerniecka

Born in 1997 in Rzeszów, Poland she later obtained her Bachelors degree in Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Indiana University Jacobs School of Music as part of her Fulbright Scholarship. Aleksandra feels closest with the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov and Scriabin, although she performs music from various periods and of different style. She loves to cook, dance swing, walk around art galleries and take long walks whenever she has some free time. Aleksandra is a laureate of national and international competitions, among others First Prize during Chopin International Festival in Poland, second place at Young Musician International Competition „Citta di Barletta”, laureate title at International Chopin Festival in Mazovia and III place at International Subcarpathian Chopin Competition in Rzeszów, Poland. She has also received multiple awards at the International Piano Forum „Bieszczady without borders” in Sanok, Poland. She has performed in various cities across Poland and abroad. She has received scholarships from the Polish Prime Minister, Marshal of Podkarpackie province, President of the Rzeszów city, Polish Children’s Fund and she has been awarded The Dean’s Scholarship for the best students each year of her studies.

Part-time role at the Wintergreen Music Festival. Responsibilities included stage and backstage management, orchestra rehearsal coordination and acting as the Guest Artist Liaison.
