Description
In seasonal celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, The Cecilia Chorus of New York joins forces with orchestra, soloists, dignitaries, youth, and children’s choruses for the world premiere of Daron Hagen’s new human rights cantata Everyone Everywhere. The cantata sets to music articles of the Declaration and words of Eleanor Roosevelt, John Lewis, Nelson Mandela, and others.

Biography
Conductor, pianist. Started playing the piano at the age of 4 and singing at the age of 9. Opera credits include assisting Mozart's Don Giovanni and Puccini's Suor Angelica & Gianni Schicchi. Performed and worked at Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, New York, USA; The Estates Theatre (Stavovské divadlo), The National Theatre (Národní divadlo), Prague, and Oskar Nedbal Theatre (Divadlo Oskara Nedbala), Tábor, Czech Republic; Theatre im Delphi, Berlin, Germany; and National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing, China. Sectional Bass Singer with The Cecilia Chorus of New York, 2023-2024. Master of Music at Mannes School of Music at the New School College of Performing Arts, studied piano and chamber music with Ann Schein, conducting with Mark Shapiro, Michael Charry, and Neal Goren. Bachelor of Music from East Tennessee State Univesity, studied piano, chamber music, piano pedagogy, music theory, and composition with Dr. Yi-Yang Chen. Attended Ithaca College, studied piano and chamber music with Dr. Charis Dimaras. Conducting fellow, Conductors Institute of South Carolina 2022. Other music festival appearances include Miami Music Festival 2023, Atlantic Music Festival 2019, and Brevard Music Center 2018.
