Originally from Oakton, Virginia, Kimberly began her musical studies as a gifted young violinist before turning her focus to classical singing. She graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University then earned a Master’s Degree from Mannes College of Music. Ms. Hann is also an alumna of the Young Artist Programs at Sarasota Opera and Chautauqua Opera. Recent engagements include appearances with Chicago Opera Theater, Opera Baltimore and Quisisana Opera. Ms. Hann enjoys performing both Contralto and Mezzo repertoire, especially contemporary works. She is also an avid choral singer in her home city of Chicago and appears regularly as a soloist at St. James Cathedral.
