Hanna made her professional debut as Rose in Opera North’s production of Street Scene, by Kurt Weill. Since then, Hanna has gone on to sing leading roles with Opera Columbus, Nashville Opera, Mississippi Opera, Opera Memphis, Festival Amadeus, Indianapolis Opera, Opera North, St. Petersburg Opera, Painted Sky Opera, Wichita Grand Opera, and Sarasota Opera.

Hanna Brammer

Praised as “Magnificent” by Opera News, “Brammer has a lovely, bright sound and enviable flexibility, with coloratura that flows like glistening water.” Soprano, Hanna Brammer made her professional debut in 2014, and since has gone on to sing leading roles with opera companies around the United States, including: Nashville Opera, Mississippi Opera, Opera Memphis, Salt Marsh Opera, Pittsburg Festival Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Opera North, Opera Project Columbus, Painted Sky Opera, Wichita Grand Opera, and Sarasota Opera. Hanna’s performance repertoire includes: Gilda (Rigoletto), Violetta (La Traviata), Juliette (Romeo et Juliette), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Nuri (Tiefland), Woglinde (Das Rheingold) Helmwige (Die Walküre) Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Musetta (La bohème), Valencienne (The Merry Widow), Lauretta and Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Micaëla (Carmen), Micaëla (La tragedie de Carmen), Semele (Die Liebe der Danae), Rose Maurrant (Street Scene), and Mabel (The Pirate of Penzance). Hanna has received several prestigious awards and scholarships. In 2015, she competed in the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in Amsterdam, where she advanced as a Semi-finalist. In 2018, Hanna was a Semi-Finalist in the Mildred Miller Vocal Competition, and most recently, Hanna was awarded First Prize Opera Tampa’s D’Angelo Young Artist Vocal Competition (2019). Hanna earned her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, and received her Bachelor's degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York.
